Overall Opinion:

Glorywill Retinol Cream was overall disappointing in almost every single way, and unfortunately has no redeeming qualities about it.

To start off with things I don’t like about this retinol, the texture is absolutely awful for a face cream. I don’t like putting thick products on my face because they can tend to clog pores and also just feel uncomfortable on the skin.

This product has coconut oil in it so besides from the fact that it is crazy thick, I figured it would probably cause a breakout due to the coconut oil which can tend to cause breakouts and clogged pores.

After using Glorywill Retinol Cream for a short period of time, my skin began to get some clogged pores. After using it for a longer period of time, I experienced some breakouts that were pretty bad. I also saw no added benefits at all. There was no plumped up wrinkles, smoothed out skin, or brightened tone.

Overall, Glorywill Retinol Cream didn’t work for my skin at all and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

Detailed Opinion:

Texture/Feel

The texture and feeling of Glorywill Retinol Cream are extremely thick. I mean it’s so thick it reminds me of more of a foot cream and not a face cream. Putting this cream on my face felt wrong; I knew almost immediately that it would clog my pores. Even though it’s so thick, you only need about one pump to cover your entire face.

Application

Glorywill Retinol Cream comes in a bottle with a pump which makes for pretty easy application, but the pump dispenses way too much product and there isn’t really a way to control how much comes out unfortunately. Since this cream is so thick, I only dabbed a small amount on my face in a few areas until it was totally covered so that I didn’t need to use more than necessary.

Drying Time

Because this cream is, again, SO thick, it definitely didn’t dry down. It barely even absorbs into the face at all. It feels like you have a face mask sitting on top of your face and it definitely does not feel good.

Smell

This retinol cream doesn’t have any added fragrance so there is really no scent to be noted.

Short Term Results

Short term, I noticed this cream was definitely clogging my pores. Other than that, I didn’t notice any difference to my fine lines and wrinkles or any type of positive difference at all.

Longer Term Results

After using Glorywill Retinol Cream for a longer period of time, I started breaking out badly. I noticed that not only is this cream way too thick for my skin, but it also contains coconut oil which can cause breakouts on the skin. This combination really didn’t work for my skin. Not only did my skin break out like crazy, I had zero positive results. My fine lines weren’t plumped, my skin tone wasn’t even, my skin didn’t even feel more moisturized. Overall, these results were extremely disappointing.

Ingredients Analysis

Glorywill Retinol Cream has some interesting ingredients and a few of them are marine collagen, hyaluronic acid, and coconut oil.

Marine collagen is supposed to help the skin with anti-aging by improving the overall firmness of the skin, as well as the hydration which can help plump up fine lines and wrinkles.

Next, hyaluronic acid is a very common ingredient found in anti-aging products such as retinol creams. Hyaluronic acid is known for hydrating the skin and locking in moisture.

Coconut oil can help aid in the production of collagen as well as regenerate skin cells. The downside to coconut oil though is that it can also clog the pores and cause breakouts, which I did end up experiencing with this product.

Price

The cost of Glorywill Retinol Cream on their website is $40 for 1.7 oz of product, which comes out to $23.53 per oz. But depending on where you buy it, there may be a big price discrepancy. It seems a little bit shady!

Guarantee

Unfortunately, there is no money back guarantee for Glorywill Retinol Cream.
