Overall Opinion:
I had somewhat high expectations for ROC Retinol Correxxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream but unfortunately it didn’t deliver.
To start with the positives, this retinol cream is light and doesn’t feel greasy at all on the skin. It’s easy to apply and absorbs into the skin so there is not left-over residue which I like. It was also pretty hydrating to the skin which is great.
Short term, I didn’t notice much of a difference to my skin other than hydration. After using this for a longer period of time, I became pretty disappointed, there weren’t many results at all. Other than my skin feeling hydrated, and a bit plumped up from the hydration, my skin remained largely the same.
I didn’t really see any improvements at all to my fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, or tone and texture.
Overall, I was pretty disappointed in my results.
Detailed Opinion:
Texture/Feel
The texture and feeling are a light cream, not too heavy and not greasy. It feels nice on the skin and spreads out evenly and easily which is a plus.
Application
This retinol cream is easy to apply; it comes in a tube and you only need a small amount, about a pea, to cover your entire face and maybe a little bit more to cover your neck. It absorbs nicely into the skin as well.
Drying Time
This retinol is light and not thick or greasy, so it absorbs fairly quickly and dries in about a minute. It doesn’t leave any residue on the skin or leave it feeling gross in any way.
Smell
There is a light floral scent to this retinol cream that isn’t overpowering but I definitely don’t prefer it.
Short Term Results
After using ROC Retinol Correxxion Deep Wrinkle Night Cream, I didn’t notice much of a difference to my skin other than it feeling quite hydrated.
Longer Term Results
After using for a longer period of time, I noticed that my skin was feeling more hydrated and looked a bit more plump than usual. I also noticed that my skin was feeling very soft which is nice. But, the results I saw were pretty average and underwhelming. It didn’t do anything major for my fine lines and wrinkles and I didn’t see a big difference in the tone or texture of my skin either.
Ingredients Analysis
This retinol cream is full of a bunch of great ingredients but a few that stuck out to me are Glycolic Acid, Squalane, and Shea Butter.
First, Glycolic Acid is interesting because it’s used mostly in peels and can help with dark spots such as melasma and age spots.
Next, Squalane can help the skin reduce redness and swelling as well and helps moisturize the skin.
Lastly, Shea Butter is used often for its anti-inflammatory properties which can help with signs of aging.
Together and individually these three ingredients are great for the skin and can definitely help reduce signs of aging.
Price
The cost is $24.99 for 1 oz of product.
I found this to be an average price for a retinol cream.

Thankfully, ROC has a 30-day money-back guarantee so you can try it risk free.
