Overall Opinion:

Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream is designed to help plump fine lines and wrinkles on the face by helping greatly with moisture retention, but it did the opposite for my skin.

This retinol cream has a very thick texture that makes it kind of hard to apply to the skin. I ended up using a ton of product trying to cover my entire face and neck.

Once it’s applied to the skin, it leaves a super greasy residue that never dries down or goes away and leaves the face feeling sticky and gross.

The smell of this product is extremely unpleasant; the only thing I can really compare it to is black olives. That sounds like a bizarre thing to compare a facial cream to but that is really what it smells like and leaves your face smelling that way the whole night.

The first night after using this product, my skin felt a bit drier than normal but I didn’t really notice any other differences to my skin.

After using this product for a longer period of time, I noticed absolutely no difference to the fine lines and wrinkles on my face. In addition, I began to develop dry, red patches all over my face and neck that were painful and flaky.

Overall, Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream really didn’t work for my skin at all, and I won’t be using this product again.

Detailed Opinion:

Texture/Feel

The texture of Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream is very thick and feels a bit sticky when it’s first applied on the skin.

It also leaves a very greasy feeling residue on the skin which I really don’t like. I prefer that a cream absorbs into the skin and leave nothing behind, but this felt greasy all night.

Application

Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream is not that easy to apply. This is a very thick cream and it requires a lot product to cover the entire face and neck.

Also, since the product is so thick, I found myself tugging at my skin to get the product to spread around and apply, which I really didn’t like.

Drying Time

Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream takes about 20 seconds to dry down, but like I said, it doesn’t fully dry down. It leaves a really gross residue on the skin that feels greasy.

Smell

The smell of Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream is absolutely awful; the only thing I can compare it to is black olives which is a very bizarre smell for a facial product. The smell also never dies down so your face just smells like olives until you wash it off the next morning.

Short Term Results

After using Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream for a night or two, my skin was feeling really dry and tight but I didn’t notice any difference in the fine lines and wrinkles on my face at all.

Longer Term Results

Over a longer period of time, Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream began to give my skin dry red patches. I had them on my face and neck and they were kind of painful and very flaky. I also noticed literally no difference in the fine lines and wrinkles on my skin.

Ingredients Analysis

Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream has a formula of antiaging ingredients that they came up with specifically for this product. These ingredients are very interesting and include hyaluronic acid, fision, and baobab tien.

Hyaluronic acid is an ingredient we’re familiar with, and it is known to help with locking in moisture to the skin which can help by plumping up the fine lines and wrinkles on the face.

Fision, something I hadn’t heard of until researching this product, is said to promote the skin’s ability to create hyaluronic acid and to enhance cellular life.

Another ingredient in which I hadn’t heard of before is baobab tien. Baobab tien is supposed to help skin with deep and lasting hydration as well as help to repair skin from sun damage.

I found it very interesting that all these ingredients are supposed to help anti-aging by combating it with moisture but I found this product to be incredibly drying.

Price

The cost of Pure Biology Enhanced Night Cream is $23.95 for 1.6 oz which comes out to $14.96 per oz.

This is a pretty average price for a retinol cream.
