Overall Opinion:

I was pretty underwhelmed with Petra Organics Retinol Moisturizer as it really didn’t do much for my skin in the way of anti-aging.

The texture of this retinol moisturizer is pretty thick when you first apply it, but it spreads out evenly on the skin and a little bit goes a long way despite being so thick. But, because it’s so thick, it doesn’t really dry down which is a bummer because it leaves a bit of a residue on the skin.

I really love that this product comes in a jar with a pump because it keeps the product fresh as well as keeps out any bacteria and germs. I also really love that there is a ton of really great organic ingredients packed in this retinol moisturizer!

After using Petra Organics Retinol Moisturizer after a short period of time, I didn’t really notice much of a difference to my skin other than feeling a bit more moisturized. After using this retinol moisturizer for a longer period of time, I still felt the same way. My skin really looked and felt the same other than a bit more plumped up from feeling moisturized. It really didn’t do anything for my fine lines and wrinkles or the texture or tone of my skin.

Overall, I ended up being disappointed in my results with Petra Organics Retinol Moisturizer, especially considering all the great ingredients in this retinol moisturizer.

Detailed Opinion:

Texture/Feel

The texture and feeling of this retinol moisturizer are quite thick, but as soon as you start spreading the product out onto your skin, it evens out and spread out easily on the skin. Despite it being pretty thick, a little bit goes a long way.

Application

The application of this retinol moisturizer is fairly easy; it comes in a jar with a pump which is great because you can control the amount of product you dispense as well as keep the product nice and free of bacteria and germs.

Drying Time

Since this retinol moisturizer is on the thicker side, it doesn’t totally dry down. After about 30 seconds, it absorbs more into the skin but it never totally dries down and it leaves a residue sitting on top of your skin.

Smell

There really isn’t much of a scent to this retinol; it actually kind of smells a bit like plastic which I think is probably from the jar that the product is in.

Short Term Results

After using this retinol moisturizer, I didn’t really notice much of a difference to my skin other than my skin feeling a bit more hydrated.

Longer Term Results

After using this retinol moisturizer for a longer period of time, I still didn’t notice much of a difference. My skin was feeling hydrated and a little bit plumped up, but overall, it didn’t do much for my fine lines and wrinkles or any other skin concerns.

Ingredients Analysis

There are a lot of really great ingredients in Petra Organics Retinol Moisturizer and a few that stood out to me were vitamin B5, white tea extract, and vitamin E.

First, vitamin B5 is great for anti-aging because it is thought to have anti-inflammatory properties that help with the skin’s healing process. It also helps with texture and tone of the skin.

Next, white tea extract can pack a punch for anti-aging because it can help block free radicals from the skin which can ultimately help reduce premature signs of aging.

Lastly. Vitamin E has antioxidants that are thought to be effective in anti-aging by reducing the amount of UV damage done to the skin. It can also help block the skin from free radicals which can cause premature aging.

These three ingredients are all very powerful in helping to fight the signs of aging and to protect the skin from premature aging. Together, these ingredients could really pack a punch!

Price

The cost of Petra Organics Retinol Moisturizer is $18.95 for 1.7 oz of product which comes to $11.14 per oz.

That is a pretty reasonable price for a retinol moisturizer.

Guarantee

Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any money back guarantee for Petra Organics Retinol Moisturizer.
