Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum is a decent serum that does help firm and tighten the skin but doesn’t do as much for the fine lines and wrinkles.
The texture and feeling of this serum is kind of runny and watery at first, but as it is applied into the skin, it feels very sticky.
Once it’s applied to the skin, it leaves a super greasy residue that never dries down or goes away, and leaves the face feeling sticky and gross.
The smell of this product is one of the worst parts about it; it smells extremely strong like an old lady perfume and it’s so overwhelming and doesn’t fade away.
After using this product for a short amount of time, I noticed my face felt nice and hydrated but no noticeable differences in the fine lines and wrinkles.
Over a longer period of time, my skin became a bit plumper and tight as well as a bit more firm which was great. I also noticed it helped with hyperpigmentation, but it didn’t make a big difference on my fine lines and wrinkles.
Overall, Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum was an average retinol serum, but because of the stickiness and horrible smell, and only slight improvements to my skin, I wouldn’t really recommend this retinol serum.
The texture and feeling of Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum is a pretty standard consistency for a serum… kind of runny and watery. It feels a bit sticky on the skin especially as it dries down.
I don’t love the way this serum feels as it’s applied, like I said, it’s sticky and it feels kind of like you have honey or syrup on your skin.
Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum comes in a dropper bottle that makes the serum really easy to apply.
A little bit of the serum goes a really long way and you will only need a few drops to cover the entire face and neck.
Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum takes about 45 seconds to a minute to dry, but once it dries down, it leaves a very sticky residue on the skin that never goes away. I really hate that feeling because the product ends up sticking to my pillow at night, which makes me feel dirty.
The smell of Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum is absolutely disgusting; it has a very strong, very floral scent to it which reminds me of a really old perfume.
Short Term Results
Short term I noticed a bit of additional hydration to my skin, but nothing too noticeable. There was no noticeable difference to the fine lines and wrinkles on my skin.
Longer Term Results
Over a longer period of time Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum continued to help my skin feel hydrated as well as helped a bit with the aging of my skin. I noticed a bit of tightness and firming as well as healing some of the hyperpigmentation on my skin. I didn’t really notice any differences in the wrinkles on my face though.
Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum contains some great ingredients that are designed to target aging skin and help moisturize and firm the skin, including hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, and glycerin.
Hydrolyzed collagen contains peptides that are easily absorbed into the skin that are meant to help plump the skin, restore moisture, and reduce the signs of aging.
Hyaluronic acid replenishes moisture and helps with fine lines and wrinkles by plumping and smoothing the skin.
Glycerin helps particularly with fine lines by retaining moisture to the skin and plumping up problem areas.
These three ingredients are super interesting and should help the skin a lot with moisture and anti-aging.
The cost of Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum is $14.99 for 2 oz which comes out to $7.49 per oz.
This is a super reasonable price for a retinol serum.
Unfortunately, I couldn’t find a money back guarantee for Gemmaz Firming Retinol Serum.
