Overall Opinion:

I found Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C to be an average retinol moisturizer. While it did improve my skin a bit, it didn’t do as much as I would’ve expected.

The texture and feeling of this retinol moisturizer are probably the thickest moisturizer I have tried, but even though it’s thick, it actually feels really nice and soft on the skin.

Since this retinol moisturizer is so thick, it takes more product than normal to cover the whole face and neck. It also comes in a jar which we know is not my favorite since it isn’t the most hygienic way to apply product.

When I first started using Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C, my skin was a little bit dried out for a few days and flaky in spots. But, after using this retinol moisturizer for a bit longer, the dryness went away. Unfortunately, not much else happened after using this retinol for a longer period of time. My skin was a bit clearer in complexion which is great, and my skin was also feeling hydrated and more plump, but overall I didn’t see much of a difference in my skin, especially my fine lines and wrinkles.

Overall, Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C is an average retinol moisturizer that didn’t do much for my fine lines and wrinkles.

Detailed Opinion:

Texture/Feel

The texture and feeling of Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C are a super, super thick moisturizer. Even though it’s super thick, it feels super nice and soft on the skin and it doesn’t leave the skin feeling sticky or congested.

Application

Even though Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C is a super thick moisturizer, you actually don’t need very much to cover your whole face and neck.

This retinol comes in a jar which I really don’t love because I feel like it’s super unsanitary and bacteria can grow in the jar from always dipping your fingers in.

Drying Time

Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C is super thick so it takes a little bit longer to dry, about 30-45 seconds.

Smell

Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C has a super floral scent that is way too strong for my liking; it gives me a headache it’s so strong.

Short Term Results

After using Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C for a short period of time, my skin was feeling super soft and very hydrated and plump.

Longer Term Results

After using Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C for a longer period of time, my skin was feeling nice and plump and moisturized. It was also helping clear the complexion of my skin and my hyperpigmentation was going away. Although this retinol did help my skin out a lot, it didn’t do much for my fine lines and wrinkles which is the main reason I use retinol in the first place.

Ingredients Analysis

Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C has a few active ingredients I found very interesting, as well as a ton of other ingredients that can be great for anti-aging.

The first active ingredient in this product is niacinamide, which is otherwise known as B3. It is known for helping skin with multiple issues such as anti-aging, enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines, etc. This definitely sounds like an awesome ingredient.

The next ingredient I found super interesting is adenosine. Adenosine is used as a skin restoring agent which can help smooth the skin and make the skin softer and suppler.

Lastly, shea butter is an ingredient I’m familiar with seeing in many retinol products. Shea butter is a great ingredient because it has healing and moisturizing properties that can help plump the skin and improve the skin’s tone and texture.

I found these ingredients to be unique and interesting; these ingredients together could really help the skin with anti-aging and texture and tone issues.

Price

The cost of Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C is $20.99 for 3.38 oz of product which comes out to $6.21 per oz. This is an inexpensive price for a retinol product.

Guarantee

Unfortunately, there is no money back guarantee that I could find for Forest Heal Moisturizer Retinol/Vitamin C.
