Overall Opinion:
Envisha Retinol Moisturizing Cream provided my skin with minimal benefits, but overall, was pretty unimpressive to me.
This retinol moisturizer has a thick texture that absorbs nicely into the skin and leaves the skin feeling hydrated and soft. It doesn’t have an added fragrance which I appreciate, and it dries fairly quickly without leaving any kind of residue on the skin.
After using this retinol moisturizer for a short period of time, my skin felt hydrated and nice and soft, but I didn’t notice any differences to my fine lines or wrinkles.
After using this retinol moisturizer for a longer period of time, I noticed a few subtle differences to my skin. I continued to notice that my skin felt nice and hydrated. I also noticed my skin felt a bit smoother and my fine lines were a bit plumped up. Those differences were pretty small and unimpressive though. I didn’t notice any difference at all to the deeper lines on my face nor my hyperpigmentation.
Overall, Envisha Retinol Moisturizing Cream was pretty disappointing and didn’t make a big enough difference to my skin to continue using.
Detailed Opinion:
Texture/Feel
Envisha Retinol Moisturizing Cream is a thick, hydrating retinol moisturizer that goes on thick but absorbs quickly into the skin. When you first apply the product, it feels kind of cooling on the skin. Even though it feels thick, it spreads on nicely and you don’t have to use too much product.
Application
The applicator on this retinol moisturizer is a jar with a pump which is nice because I love a pump, but this particular kind isn’t my favorite. I feel like it’s harder to regulate how much product comes out and you end up wasting more. I also don’t like that you have to touch the top of the jar because it seems germy. Other than that, the product applied easily and absorbs nicely into the skin.
Drying Time
Despite Envisha Retinol Moisturizing Cream being thick, it dries relatively quickly in about 30 seconds. I also appreciate that it doesn’t leave any kind of residue on top of the skin and it leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated.
Smell
This retinol moisturizer doesn’t have any added scent, which is preferable. But I find that when moisturizers come in this kind of jar, they often times smell like plastic and this one definitely does.
Short Term Results
Short term, I noticed that this retinol moisturizer made my skin feel more hydrated and soft. Other than that, I didn’t notice any immediate differences to my skin at all.
Longer Term Results
After using Envisha Retinol Moisturizing Cream for.a longer period of time, I did notice some small differences to my skin, but overall, I was pretty unimpressed. The small differences I noticed were continued hydration, plumped some fine lines, and smoother skin. I didn’t notice much of a difference to the deeper lines around my face at all and I had no noticeable difference in the hyperpigmentation on my face. Even the differences I did have were pretty subtle.
Ingredients Analysis
Envisha Retinol Moisturizing Cream has a few interesting ingredients that stood out as being beneficial for anti-aging such as Green Tea, Vitamin E, and Cucumber Hydrosol.
Green Tea is a common ingredient found in many retinol moisturizers because of its antioxidant properties. It’s also known to help fight free radicals and damaging UV rays.
Next, Vitamin E also helps the skin fight against sun damage which can cause early signs of aging. Vitamin E can also help improve the skin’s texture and tone.
Lastly, Cucumber Hydrosol helps calm the skin with its anti-inflammatory properties as well as helps tone and tighten the skin.
These three ingredients can really pack a punch to help fight against premature aging of the skin.
