Overall Opinion:

Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer is great for moisturizing the skin but was a bit disappointing when it came to helping with anti-aging.

The feeling of this moisturizer is really nice on the skin; it’s thick, but not too think, and has more of a water-like consistency as you rub it into the skin.

The product totally absorbs into the skin and doesn’t leave any kind of residue, and it has a bit of a cooling feeling as it dries down.

The day after I used this product and the few following days, I noticed that my skin was feeling super moisturized which I liked a lot, although it also clogged my pores a bit which was a bummer.

Over time, I still felt like my skin was very hydrated, which does help a little bit with making your skin smooth and filling in little lines. But I really didn’t notice a difference at all with the more noticeable wrinkles on my face. I also noticed that as time went on, this product kept clogging my pores and even caused some breakouts.

Overall, Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer is a very average product that works to keep your skin hydrated but won’t target and help the deeper wrinkles on your face.

Detailed Opinion:

Texture/Feel

The texture of Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer is thick and creamy, but not overly thick like some moisturizers.

It feels more like a water-based moisturizer when you apply it to your skin, rather than a rich cream, and it is a little bit cooling on the face.

Application

The applicator on the bottle is a pump and it pumps out way too much product, which is annoying because then you have to waste a lot of excess product.

The moisturizer is easy to apply and it absorbs into the skin pretty quickly.

The moisturizer feels very hydrating from the moment you put it on your skin, but it doesn’t leave behind a greasy residue which I like.

Drying Time

Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer takes about 15 seconds to dry once it is fully applied on the face.

It leaves the skin feeling really smooth and soft which I like a lot. I don’t like when moisturizers feel thick and sticky on the face.

Smell

The smell of Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer is almost non-existent; it has a really soft, fresh smell that isn’t really noticeable.

The smell goes away pretty much immediately once it’s applied on the face.

Short Term Results

Short term I noticed that Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer left my face feeling really moisturized.

I also noticed that my pores were a little bit clogged after using this product, which I think is due to some of the ingredients in this retinol moisturizer.

Longer Term Results

The longer term results for Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer weren’t very impressive.

I noticed that this moisturizer did help improve and plump small lines on my face, but nothing drastic.

As far as improving any wrinkles, I didn’t notice any difference at all which was disappointing.

Ingredients Analysis

Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer has some interesting ingredients such as green tea, sunflower oil, aloe, and vitamin B5.

Green tea contains something called polyphenols which are used in many skin care products because they are meant to help fight aging and help make your skin healthy.

Vitamin B5 is another ingredient which is found in many skin care products and supplements for skin because of its help in the stopping and reversing of aging.

Sunflower oil contains fatty acids which are thought to help reduce signs of aging from sun expose and sun damage.

Lastly, aloe is thought to help repair the skin from damage and help rebuild collagen, which helps with the anti-aging process.

Price

The cost of Body Merry Retinol Surge Moisturizer is $20.99 for 3.4 oz, which comes to $6.17 per oz.

This is a pretty inexpensive retinol moisturizer.
